Maria Borgestig, Phd, Reg. OT, is a senior lecturer at Uppsala University, Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Occupational Therapy. She is responsible for starting an Occupational Therapy program (bachelor degree) at Uppsala University and the project manager for the Swedish P4C Team. Her areas of expertise are: participation in school and daily activities, children with disabilities, gaze-based assistive technology in daily life.

Helene Lidström, PhD, MSc. Reg. OT, is a university lecturer at Uppsala University (UU), Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Occupational Therapy. Since 2011, she has worked as a teacher and researcher at Linköping University but is currently working on starting an Occupational Therapy program (bachelor’s degree) at UU and is research coordinator for the Swedish P4C Team. Her areas of expertise are: participation in school and daily activities, children and adults with disabilities, information and communication technology, practical research.

Vedrana Baric, Phd, MSc. Reg. OT is a senior lecturer at Linköping University, Unit of Occupational Therapy, Department of Health, Medicine and Caring Sciences (HMV). She is a part of the Swedish P4C Team. Her areas of expertise are: participation in school, the transition process to further studies and / or work, intersectoral collaboration for inclusive environments, ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health), and sleep interventions.

Moa Yngve, Phd, MSc. Reg. OT, is a senior lecturer at Linköping University, Unit of Occupational Therapy, Department of Health, Medicine and Caring Sciences (HMV) and at Uppsala University, Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Occupational Therapy. She is a part of the Swedish P4C Team. Her areas of expertise are: participation in school, ICT as support in school, psychometric evaluation of assessment instruments, transition from school to work and/or further studies and work ability.

Barbara Piškur, Phd, is ass. prof at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Care, Research Centre for Autonomy and Participation (NL) and Hasselt University, Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences, REVAL Rehabilitation Research Centre (BE). She chairs the board of the European Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and works closely with CanChild as an international collaborator. Her areas of expertise are: participation, belonging, Capacity building & development and user co-design and partnership.


Esther Bloemen -van Gurp

Esther Bloemen- van Gurp, Phd, is ass. prof at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences (Professorship Neighborhood care and Faculty of Nursing science), Fontys University of Applied Sciences (FontysProHealth) and The University of Maastricht (Health Services Research). Her areas of expertise are: (Positive) Health, Health promotion, patient centered care, participatory health, shared decision making, personalized medicine and oncology.


Paul Hennissen

Paul Hennissen, PhD, is a former professor of Training in school at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and involved in the P4C project from 2017. His expert areas are divers topis of education and training.
